How to Set Up Shinjiru Forex VPS

Here are the steps required to set up Shinjiru Forex VPS;

Step 1: Select your preferred Forex VPS Plan. Once done, allocate a username and a password with which to create access between the local computer and the remote computer (the Forex VPS). We will then give you instructions on how to install the Forex VPS.

Step 2: Click on the Windows start button, and in the search bar, type Remote Desktop Connection. This calls up the file and its location. Click on it.

Step 3: You will be shown a pop-up where you will be asked to enter your Forex VPS username in order to connect to the server.

Step 4: Enter your username and password (your Forex VPS credentials).

This connects you to our Forex VPS server. Follow the set of instructions to connect your EAs to the remote computer for trading.

How Does VPS Work in Forex Trading?

All three entities — trader’s PC, VPS with expert advisor’s (EA) and broker’s MT4 or MT5 server — are connected to the internet. Trader has a choice to control the VPS and upload new EAs to it and also to control and monitor its trading account with a Forex broker. Fortunately, none of these actions require a 24/7 uptime from the trader’s PC or connection. EAs installed on VPS are sending orders to the MT4/5 server 100% autonomously — the actual trading requires a 24/7 uptime and it’s provided by the VPS.

What is the difference between MetaTrader 4 (MT4) & MetaTrader 5 (MT5)?

The main difference between the two versions is that MT4 focuses on Forex trading and Contract for Differences (CFD), while MT5 also includes other assets like stocks and futures. Secondly, MT4 has hedging, and MT5 has hedging and netting. In regards to algorithmic trading, MT5 has a multi-currency strategy tester and it is faster at testing and optimization in comparison to MT4.
